Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Solotogether ("we", "us") operates solotogether.co, connecting artists, arts organizations, businesses, and enthusiasts across Singapore. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how it's handled, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

1. Information we collect

Depending on your account type, we collect:

  • Account details: email address, phone number (optional), and a securely hashed password.
  • Profile information: display name, biography, photos, art disciplines/genres, experience level, location, rates, and social media links (artists); organization or business name, legal name, organisation type, contact person, and verification details (organizations/businesses); interests and preferences (enthusiasts).
  • Activity data: events you create or register for, booking requests and messages, reviews, and follows.
  • Contact form submissions — name, email, and message content, if you contact us directly.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and operate your account, and to display your public profile to other users.
  • To match artists with relevant opportunities — when an organization publishes an event, we use an AI service to score how well active artist profiles fit the event, based on discipline, experience, and event requirements.
  • To send transactional emails — booking updates, event reminders, verification status, and replies to your enquiries.
  • To review and approve organization/business verification applications.
  • To maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the platform:

  • Neon — our database host, where account and profile records are stored.
  • Cloudinary — stores uploaded photos and logos.
  • SendGrid — sends transactional emails on our behalf.
  • Anthropic — processes relevant profile and event details to generate the AI match scores described above.
  • Railway and Vercel — host our backend and website.
  • Google — Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used (see section 4).

Your public profile (display name, bio, photos, and similar fields you choose to fill in) is visible to other users and, for published events and public profiles, to visitors browsing the site without an account.

4. Cookies, local storage and analytics

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular and where visitors come from, so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga) and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type. We have turned off Google's advertising features: this data is not used for advertising or linked to your Google account, and we only look at it in aggregate. Google processes this data on our behalf and may store it outside Singapore. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) without affecting how the site works. We don't use advertising cookies. Some of our infrastructure providers may set minimal technical cookies required to serve the site.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at the email below.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you can:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Withdraw consent to our collection or use of your data (which may limit what you can do on the platform).
  • Ask us to delete your account and associated data.

Most profile fields can be updated directly from your account settings. For anything else, reach out using the contact details below.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
