Solotogether Terms of Use

Last updated 9 September 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of solotogether.co and the related services made available by Solotogether PTE LTD, a company incorporated in Singapore ("Solotogether", "we", "us" or "our").

By creating an account, accessing the website or using any Solotogether service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data and forms part of your relationship with us.

Solotogether connects independent artists, audiences, organisations and commercial partners. We are developing the platform in stages, so some functions described in these Terms may be introduced, changed or withdrawn as the service evolves.

Contents

1. Eligibility

1.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to create an account or use the platform independently.

1.2 If you use Solotogether for a company, organisation or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1.3 A child or young person may participate in an activity only through a parent, legal guardian or other appropriately authorised adult. Solotogether does not currently offer accounts intended for children.

2. What Solotogether Provides

2.1 Depending on availability, Solotogether may provide artist and organisation profiles, search and discovery, AI-assisted matching, opportunity and event listings, booking enquiries, messaging, community features, reviews, verification signals and related services.

2.2 Features may be marked as beta, experimental or planned. We may improve, limit, suspend or discontinue any feature where reasonably necessary for product development, security, legal compliance or platform operations.

2.3 Solotogether does not guarantee that any user will receive work, bookings, sales, funding, exposure, attendance or other commercial results.

3. Solotogether Role

3.1 Unless we expressly agree otherwise in a separate written agreement, Solotogether provides a platform that helps users discover and communicate with one another. We are not the employer, partner, representative, fiduciary, buyer or seller of any user, and we are not a party to agreements made directly between users.

3.2 Solotogether may separately act as a producer, curator, project manager, consultant, booking representative or commercial collaborator. Any such engagement must be governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms in relation to the engagement, the separate agreement will prevail to the extent of the conflict.

3.3 Nothing on the platform is legal, financial, tax, investment, employment or other professional advice.

4. Accounts

4.1 You must provide accurate, complete and current information and keep your profile reasonably up to date.

4.2 You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity carried out through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

4.3 Business and organisation accounts must be operated by a genuine authorised representative. You must not create an account for another person or entity without permission.

4.4 Unless we approve otherwise, each person or entity should maintain one account and must not create duplicate accounts to mislead others or avoid restrictions.

5. Profiles Listings and Discovery

5.1 Users are responsible for the accuracy, legality and completeness of their profiles, portfolios, listings, opportunities, events, rates, availability and other information.

5.2 Search position, recommendations and visibility may depend on relevance, completeness, activity, location, user preferences, platform quality signals and other factors. We do not promise any particular placement or audience reach.

5.3 We may edit formatting, categorisation or presentation for clarity, but we will not intentionally change the substantive meaning of user-provided information.

6. AI Assisted Features

6.1 Solotogether may use automated or AI-assisted systems to support search, matching, recommendations, summaries, moderation and administrative tasks.

6.2 AI-assisted outputs are suggestions and may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Users must independently review important information and make their own decisions before entering into an agreement, making a payment or attending an activity.

6.3 We do not use an artist's original creative works to train a general-purpose generative AI model without the artist's express consent. Operational processing that is reasonably necessary to provide search, matching, safety or other requested services is not treated as general-purpose model training.

7. Bookings and Arrangements Between Users

7.1 A booking request, acceptance, rate, message or other platform interaction records what users propose to each other. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, Solotogether does not set, collect, hold or guarantee payment and does not guarantee that a booking or collaboration will proceed.

7.2 Users should agree directly and in writing on scope, deliverables, dates, venue, fees, deposits, payment schedule, cancellation, expenses, intellectual property, credits, confidentiality, insurance, tax, licences, work passes, safety and safeguarding requirements where relevant.

7.3 Each user is responsible for conducting appropriate checks and complying with applicable laws. Users remain responsible for their own acts, omissions, workers, contractors, equipment and professional obligations.

7.4 If a project involves children or vulnerable persons, the organising parties must establish appropriate supervision, consent, safeguarding and venue procedures. A platform listing or match is not a safety certification.

8. Fees and Payments

8.1 During the current promotional phase, Solotogether does not charge a platform booking fee and does not process user-to-user payments unless expressly stated for a particular service.

8.2 We may later introduce paid memberships, service fees, payment processing, transaction protection, promoted listings or other paid services. Before a new fee applies, we will provide reasonable notice and disclose the applicable amount or calculation method.

8.3 Fees payable under a separate project, production, consultancy, agency or commercial agreement are governed by that agreement.

8.4 Users are responsible for taxes, withholding, invoicing and payment obligations arising from arrangements they make with each other.

9. Verification and Reviews

9.1 A verified badge or similar indicator means only that we reviewed specified information or evidence at a particular time. It is not an endorsement, background check, guarantee of identity, continuing reliability, legal compliance, quality or suitability.

9.2 Users must apply their own judgement and conduct checks appropriate to the value, risk and nature of an engagement.

9.3 Where reviews are available, they must be honest, relevant and based on genuine first-hand experience. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, irrelevant, unlawfully discriminatory, retaliatory or otherwise contrary to these Terms.

10. User Content and Intellectual Property

10.1 You retain ownership of content you submit, including biographies, photographs, artwork, portfolio materials, audio, video, event information, posts and messages, subject to rights held by others.

10.2 You grant Solotogether a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display and distribute your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve and promote the platform and your public profile, listings or activities. This licence ends when the relevant content is deleted, except where retention is reasonably required by law, security, backup or dispute-resolution obligations.

10.3 We will not sell your original creative work, license it to a third party for that third party's unrelated commercial use, or use it to train a general-purpose generative AI model without your express permission.

10.4 You confirm that you own or have permission to use and submit your content and that our permitted use of it will not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality or other rights.

10.5 Solotogether and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, software, databases, branding, design and materials created by us. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

11. Acceptable Use

You must not use Solotogether to:

  • impersonate another person or organisation or create a false or misleading profile;
  • post fraudulent opportunities, events, reviews or other knowingly false information;
  • harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against or abuse another person;
  • upload unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, obscene or malicious content;
  • scrape, harvest, mass-collect, copy, resell or misuse platform data without written permission;
  • interfere with platform security, test vulnerabilities without authorisation, bypass restrictions or introduce malware;
  • send spam, unsolicited bulk communications or deceptive promotions;
  • circumvent fees or safeguards that apply to a paid Solotogether service; or
  • use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable Singapore law.

12. Moderation and Reporting

12.1 We may review, restrict, remove or preserve content and may investigate conduct where reasonably necessary to operate the platform, enforce these Terms, protect users, address complaints or comply with law.

12.2 We are not required to monitor every listing, message or interaction and cannot guarantee that prohibited content or conduct will be identified immediately.

12.3 To report a suspected fake listing, abusive message, intellectual-property concern, safety issue or other problem, contact info@solotogether.co or use the contact form at https://www.solotogether.co/contact.

13. Privacy and Communications

13.1 Our Privacy Policy at https://www.solotogether.co/privacy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain and protect personal data.

13.2 We may send service communications that are reasonably necessary for account operation, security, bookings, policy changes and support. Marketing communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and available preference settings.

13.3 Users must not disclose another person's personal information through the platform unless they have a lawful basis and appropriate permission to do so.

14. Third Party Services

14.1 The platform may link to or integrate with third-party services, including maps, social-media platforms, payment providers, analytics providers or external event and ticketing services.

14.2 Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Solotogether is not responsible for their availability, security, content or conduct, except to the extent required by law.

15. Suspension Termination and Account Deletion

15.1 You may stop using Solotogether and request account deletion by contacting us. Some information may be retained where reasonably required for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, record keeping or dispute resolution.

15.2 We may restrict, suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create legal or safety risk, misuse the platform, fail to pay an amount owed to Solotogether, or where suspension is reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.

15.3 Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. We may act immediately where the risk is urgent, the breach is serious, or notice would undermine safety, security or an investigation.

15.4 Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, payment, liability, indemnity and dispute provisions, will continue to apply.

16. Service Availability and Disclaimers

16.1 Solotogether is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, the accuracy of user content or AI-assisted outputs, or that any match, booking, user, event or opportunity will meet expectations.

16.2 We do not guarantee attendance, performance, payment, sales, commercial success, suitability, safety or legal compliance in arrangements between users.

16.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

17. Limitation of Liability

17.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solotogether PTE LTD will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data or anticipated savings arising from the platform or an arrangement between users.

17.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to the platform and these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the fees you paid directly to Solotogether for the relevant service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) S$100.

17.3 The limitations in this section do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

18. Indemnity for Professional and Business Users

18.1 If you use Solotogether for professional, commercial or organisational purposes, you agree to indemnify Solotogether PTE LTD and its officers, employees and contractors against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from: (a) your content; (b) your breach of these Terms or applicable law; or (c) your acts or omissions in connection with an event, booking, project or other arrangement.

18.2 This indemnity does not apply to the extent that a claim results from Solotogether's own breach, negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct.

19. Changes to These Terms

19.1 We may update these Terms as the platform, law or our business model changes. The updated version will state its effective date.

19.2 We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Changes involving new fees, materially different uses of personal data or other matters requiring consent will take effect only in accordance with applicable law and any additional notice or consent requirements.

19.3 Your continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance, except where the law requires another form of consent.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

20.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

20.2 Before commencing court proceedings, the parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute by written notice and reasonable discussion, unless urgent relief is required.

20.3 Subject to any non-excludable right or jurisdiction, the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the platform.

21. General Provisions

21.1 If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect and the affected provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.

21.2 A failure or delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right.

21.3 You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a restructuring, financing, merger, acquisition or transfer of the platform, subject to applicable law.

21.4 These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any applicable separate written agreement form the entire agreement for their respective subject matter. A separate written agreement prevails over these Terms only to the extent it expressly governs the relevant engagement and is inconsistent with these Terms.

21.5 Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
